Midpines - Along Highway 140,
An Ideal Base Camp for Visitors!

Midpines is situated in the Sierra National Forest between Yosemite National Park and the historic mining center of Mariposa. This is a great area to consider as a base camp for your visit. You can drive or take a scheduled bus into the Park. During the spring, you may try white water rafting. There's lots of good fishing close by. Ride the old logger train at Yosemite Sugar Pine Railroad at Fish Camp. There's are a variety of interesting things to see and do just a few minutes away!
